Our group has 5 people and we decided to go to Hue easily because of cheap flight ticket prices and few people coming here. ✈️ HN-HUE round-trip ticket price: vnd 1.600.000. We departed with the service of Vietnam airline company and returned by Vietjet. We chose to move by taxi in Hue for saving time, moreover, the weather was hot, we could not visit many places if we ride motorbikes. Here is the phone number of the taxi driver: 0787706015. He is very friendly. Our group stayed at New Life homestay on Chu Van An street right in the center of foreign town. It’s convenient to move. The staff are enthusiastic, but if you are a grumpy person, you’ll feel that it is not suitable with you. I rated it 7/10. 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏: - In the morning, departed to Phu Bai airport from Noi Bai. - At noon: Ate Am Phu rice with cost of 735k(many delicious dishes). We got on the flight early so we all were hungry. Although we ordered quite a lot, we ate them up :)) - In the afternoon: Beach bar Hue is more beautiful than Thuan An beach. It’s kind of a restaurant on beach where you can take a sunny bath and food & drinks served. The entrance ticket is 100k including food & drinks cost, you ‘ll must pay an extra fee if you exceed that amount of money. We are 6 people and ate shrimps, squid, drank coconut water, coca-cola and mineral water. Total cost was 810k, it is not expensive than others. Normally, in other places, 100k for entrance ticket price including sleeper-chair and check-in only. The view for photo taking is also stunning. I did it at 3:00 so I freely took pictures without worrying about surrounding people😝 - At night: We went to Con Hen for eating Hoa Dong baby basket clams rice. We all were full but the price was 180k only. Although we must take a walk for a while due the the bridge is small, dark road to the eatery as a countryside, food was really delicious. It serves specialties of Hue city and the dish of baby basket clams rice is tasty. - After dinner, we went to Truong Tien bridge for admiring the scenery on Huong river and for relaxing also. The price is 20k/ person, and the time of sitting on boat is longer than I thought 😋 You can contemplate the panoramic view of Truong Tien bridge with sparkling lights from the boat. Leaving the boat, strolled at walking street on the shore of Huong river, enjoyed hand-made yogurt. It is quite delicious, 5k/ piece. - Got on a cyclo to foreign town near our homestay , drank beer as if we were sitting on Ta Hien, Hanoi. Especially, drinking beers here is cheaper than Ta Hien :)) 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐: - In the morning, eating Hue beef noodle at O Gai eatery. Price is 35k/ bowl. The size of the bowl is smaller than it in Hanoi, for me, I must try 2 bowls. - Then, we went to Hue Citadel. Because of the epidemic, the ticket price is down to 100k/ person only. Keep in mind that the Citadel is large, bring hat, cap, sun-cream and water. If not, you’ll easy to get tired of. There is also tram service for you to choose, it takes you about 40 minutes to beautiful spots for photo taking. However, it was too hot, we just went to take pictures for a while at outside then went for lunch. We tried specialty cakes of Hue city at Ba Do eatery. - In the afternoon, we tried “ Banh ep” at the gate of Linh Quang pagoda. We were recommended by locals so it was good. It is on the way to Thien Mu Pagoda and Huong village( incent village). Unfortunately, when we reached Thien Mu, it happened to rain, we could not take any picture with incent village😂 - When it stopped raining, we went to eat Vermicelli with marinated char-grilled pork and grilled meat roll at Ba Ty eatery. Total cost was 224k. I would like to to eat up to 3 or 4 bowls. - In the evening, we ate Hem sweet gruel with the price of 12k/ glass then took a cyclo for a stroll. The price was 100k/ a cyclo for 2-3 people( remember to bargain). - After that, went back to Truong Tien bridge for eating something. At 11:00, this place is a paradise for enjoying food at night with the dishes of snails, bread,sweet gruel and rice. Getting full of food, we back to hotel for some rests and recharge energy for the next day. 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑: - Had breakfast with grilled fish noodle at A Co eatery( I do not like this dish or its quality is not good) - Then, stopped by Quoc Hoc- Hue High School for the Gifted and took pictures at Truong Tien bridge. - We went to Café Le’s Garden Bar. This place has garden view and billiard pools right in the heart of the city. - At noon, went to the airport to Hanoi and ended our trip. Above is our entire itinerary for a 3D2N trip to Hue city. We had an opportunity to enjoy near all of famous dishes in Hue. Because of short time and weather, we could not visit tombs. We’ll do it on our upcoming trip!!!
