💥 Salt Water Cafe, Bandra
For the best burgers in Mumbai, Salt Water Cafe (Chapel Rd Rose Minar, 87 Annel, Church St, Bandra West) tops my list of places to try! I’ve tried their fish and chips burger and the lamb burger, and they’re absolutely outstanding. I also quite like Good Flippin' Burgers (multiple outlets) and Woodside Inn (multiple outlets). Their burgers are nice and juicy, freshly made and and full of flavour. You know they’re not a big chain where patties will be highly processed and stuffed in the bun. Good Flippin’ Burgers does a great bhoot jolokia chilli burger called the Bhoot.” Anuradha Joshi Medhora, owner, Charoli Foods
💥 Good Flippin’ Burgers and Woodside Inn
“I am in love with the Cluckinator burger from Good Flippin' Burgers and the ghost chilli-spiced chicken burger from Woodside Inn. The Cluckinator is my comfort burger for when I have to order in, whereas the ghost chilli burger is for when I want to step out. Both burgers pack a great punch, have a great filling-to-bread ratio and are extremely satisfying. My other late night guilty pleasure is the cheesy chicken burger from Burgzooka (order online).” Pooja Dhingra, pastry chef and founder, Le15 Patisserie
💥 Jimis Burger, Louis Burger and Jamjar Diner
“Jimis Burger (multiple delivery outlets) does this stuffed herb chicken cheese burger that’s really nice. The lamb burger by Louis Burger (Shop No. 7, Kamala Mills Compound, near Radio Mirchi Office, Lower Parel) is also worth a try. I really like the buff burger at O Pedro (Unit No 2, Plot No C-68, Jet Airways - Godrej BKC, Bandra Kurla Complex; order online or call 7506525554) and Jamjar’s (Gazebo House, 1st, 133, Hill Rd, Bandra West) chimichurri queso burger. I don’t like b**f very often, but they both have such a well done patty, and there’s no extra sauces oozing out. They’re just plain good burgers with a nice patty that goes down well. Louis and Jimis are exactly the opposite—they have sauces dripping, a juicy patty, and basically burgers ideal for when you want to eat indulgent carb-heavy food. All of them also have brioche-like buns that are soft.” Nikki Gupta, brand consultant at We Do (Things)💥 O Pedro, BKC
“The buff burger at O Pedro is hands down one of the best I’ve had. It’s a classic no-fuss burger with two patties, onions and cheese and I believe they use their own in-house koji for marination. And I’d also have to say, Louis Burger’s (order online) Korean fried chicken burger is amazing, especially for a late-night craving.” Chef Gresham Fernandes, culinary director, Impresario Handmade Restaurants “O Pedro’s b**f burger is excellently cooked, the meat-to-bun ratio is just perfect and overall, it’s one of the best I’ve had in the city.” Bhakti Mehta, chef and founder, Little Food Co. 💥 Nino Burgers, Louis Burger and Speak Burgers
“I really enjoy the offerings by Nino Burgers (multiple delivery outlets). They have this crispy chicken burger with a pineapple salsa that’s quite nice, and the brioche buns are soft and fluffy. I also quite like Louis Burger (multiple delivery outlets) for their Korean fried chicken burger. Good Flippin’ burgers (multiple delivery outlets) is a great option, and Speak Burgers (order online) by chef Vicky Ratnani is also really good. I believe the burger patties are grilled over coal fire, unlike what other brands do, which makes all the difference. He also does these pop-up menus routinely.” Sanjyot Keer, chef, digital content creator and founder, Your Food Lab Cre: cntraveller
