Last Autumn in Québec was such a dream for me 🥹 I was so blown away by the amount of vibrant red, yellow, and orange leaves everywhere we went 🧡 Québec is one the best destinations for leaf peeping and so worth putting on your fall bucket list! 🍁🇨🇦

🍂 Peak fall foliage varies year by year. Higher elevations tend to peak towards Mid/Late September while lower elevation tends to peak around Early/Mid October. Your best bet would be plan your trip around first 2 weeks of October. I recommend staying for at least a week and being as flexible as you can with your itinerary. Last year we visited during the 2nd weekend of October and the conditions were perfect!
🍂 @tourismequebec website has an official fall foliage tracker where you can check the status of the leaves in each area
🍂 If visiting a National Park, you need to purchase a parks pass. If you plan to visit a National park for more than 4 days it is recommended to purchase an annual card. Passes can be purchased online at sepaq.com
🍂 Keep in mind that Canadian Thanksgiving falls on October 9th. If you go leaf peeping on this day, it may be crowded in popular touristy areas, especially in Québec City.
🍂 As always, please remember to leave no trace! Let’s keep our planet as beautiful as we left it 🙏
Are you planning a leaf peeping trip this Fall? 🍁
