We heard about this yatra few hours before the yatra started, out of no where we booked our bus tickets left from Mumbai at 9pm and reached Kolhapur midnight at around 4am around 7 hours overnight journey and somehow managed to reach Jyotiba temple in Wadi Ratnagiri, the first thing we did was straight went to have darshan of Jyotiba we met few people which was pure destiny the person we met was poojari at the temple and they helped us throughout the entire day, they invited us to their house which was right next to the temple gave us place to rest and charge my camera batteries and offered me chaha (tea) and lunch without we asking any of it. We witnessed the entire event and vibe of the festival and got to know alot about the history of the temple and its significance in our hindu mythology.
