🔥 Several parts of India including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa, and coastal Karnataka have experienced unexpected temperatures in the first few weeks of February. The temperature has been ranging between 35 to 39 degrees Celsius and forecasts indicate it is not going to cool down much.
🔥 The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a heatwave alert for parts of Konkan and Maharashtra on Sunday. However, the alert has since been withdrawn as temperatures have come down slightly. The IMD in its new release, late on Monday night, said that the maximum temperature remains at 4-9 degrees Celsius above normal.
