Kalsubai is a mountain peak 🏔 in the Western Ghats, 📍in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Its the highest point in Maharashtra. Kalsubai mountain peak lies in the Sahyadri mountain range falling under Kalsubai-Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary. The 🏔 trek is moderately difficult, passing through jungles, small streams, highlands and rocky terrains, and takes around 3-4 hours, with short intervals in between, to reach the crest of Kalsubai. The trek offers a breathtaking 😍combination of natural environments like waterfalls, forests, grasslands, and historic forts (Ratangad, Madan, Kulang, & Alang). The Kalsubai trek is also a very popular night trek. Trekkers flock here for the brilliant views of the sunrise 🌄 !
