Hidden gem💎 in Pune📍 Shinde Chhatri is a memorial dedicated to the Maratha leader Mahadji Shinde. He served as the commander-in-chief of the Maratha army (1760-1780) under the Peshwas. Located on the left bank of the Bahiroba stream in Pune’s suburb of Wanowrie, the Shinde Chhatri was built in remembrance of Mahadji Shinde. शिंदें छत्री हे मराठा नेते महादजी शिंदे यांचे स्मारक आहे. त्यांनी पेशव्यांच्या अंतर्गत मराठा साम्राज्यात (१७६०- १७८०) सरसेनापती म्हणून काम केले. पुण्याच्या वानवडी मधे बहिरोबा नाला काठाच्या डाव्या तीरावर वसलेली शिंदेछत्री महादजी शिंदे यांच्या स्मरणार्थ बांधली गेली.
