Sharing out here some tips. 👏 💗 The French colony is by far the best place to explore and to click great instagramable pictures & reel videos. 💗 Cafe hopping is a must in Pondicherry for their French style breakfast and the lovely interiors that they have. 💗 Avoid visiting Auroville beach as it is more crowded & people dump garbage across various entry points. 💗 If you are looking for peace you will find it at the Auroville ashram. @theredcapguy suggests you buy products from local stores but not from the Auroville store. @theredcapguy found them to be super duper expensive. 💗 Here's and inside tip. If you are in Auroville on a Sunday, you are in for a treat. There are Sunday flea markets, concerts, rave parties (non psychedelic), food mela happening at one of those hostel properties. It's a like a mini version of Lil Flea that happens in Mumbai. Ask the locals (youths) for the locations. They will guide you or if they are as chilled as you, they might even take you there. P.s. It is better to hire a 2 wheeler then to go around in a rickshaw.
