❌INDIA LOGS 18,819 NEW COVID-19 CASES, ACTIVE CASES CROSS ONE LAKH MARK ❌ -------------------------- ✔India reported 18,819 new cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total caseload to 4,34,52,164, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday. ✔The death toll climbed to 5,25,116 with 39 new fatalities in the last 24 hours. ✔The national Covid-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.55 per cent. A total of 13,827 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, which brings the total recoveries to 4,28,22,493 across the country. ✔The active cases crossed the one lakh mark again after 122 days. An increase of 4,953 cases has been recorded in the active Covid-19 case count in a span of 24 hours, bringing India’s active caseload to 1,04,555. ✔Meanwhile, the top five states which have registered maximum cases are Kerala with 4,459 cases, followed by Maharashtra with 3,957 cases, Karnataka with 1,945 cases, Tamil Nadu with 1,827 cases and West Bengal with 1,424 cases. ✔These five states account for 72.34 per cent of the new cases, with Kerala alone responsible for 23.69 per cent of the new cases. ✔India has administered a total of 14,17,217 doses in the last 24 hours, which brings the total tally of doses administered to 1,97,61,91,554. ✔A total of 4,52,430 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
