We went there in September and the nights were pretty cold with dew drops in the morning. It used to be a tribal settlement, but several mines came up in this the region, partially destroying the lovely forest cover. It's now a small planned township. However, it's still beautiful and you will still find plenty of forest and hills with clouds touching the peaks. The road from Bileipada to Koira goes through Tensa. This ghat road, also called the Tensa-Koira road passes through thick jungles. However, that doesn't affect the beauty of Tensa ghati. 🚐TRAVEL AND STAY🏨 : From Keonjhar's Joda, Tensa is just 47 kms away (1.5 hrs). If you are coming from Sundargarh's Rourkela, you will take the Lathikata, Darjing and the Tensa ghat road we had mentioned above. It takes about 2 hrs (95 kms). From Bhubaneswar, Tensa is about 6.5 hrs drive, via Keonjhar
