Teeny tiny little volcanoes in the heart of Iceland.โ
As amazing as it is to see something like this, Iโm sure nothing compares to seeing one of these being birthed through an active eruption. Got to get to tick that off the list at some point.

Watching flowing lava right in front of you is an unreal experience! ๐คฏ Volcano facts:

The Icelandic Department of Emergency Management announced an immediate evacuation of the area. Around 30,000 people have visited the area since the eruption began, according to the Icelandic Tourist Board. ๐ฅ

Is it real? ๐ฅฐ A magnificent and massive canyon, about 100 meters deep and about two kilometres long. The canyon has sheer walls, and is somewhat serpentine and narrow. The bedrock is mostly palagonite from cold periods of the Ice Age and is thought to be about two million years old. Today river inside is often rather low in water and therefore hikers can safely choose to walk inside the canyon. ๐ฅ
